We have upgraded HELM and installed DNN3 Application Pack on TheCoolServer, others will follow soon. Resellers should update their packages if they want to allow their customers to install DNN.

We will also like to have feedback on this and any other application packs that you might be intrested in.

This feature hs been disabled for the time being because it was messing up resource auditing, but that should not stop the discussion here.

I am currently working on a backup application pack, it is not an application pack as such but will allow backups to be taken.

As far as DNN goes i have reported the problem to them

Hopefully they will put some though on it otherwise we will have to look at other options.

DNN would be a nice feature to offer my customers, but Nasir is going about it right. I would rather him be 100% sure its works like its supposed to before he puts it out. He is holding off because that is whats best for the servers and best for us. No worries, unless WHA ignores his post, he will get it up and working sooner than later.

HELM has all the time issus like this. Developers are still missing some basic things in their.
Have a look at a thread (http://forums.webhostautomation.com/viewtopic.php?p=66785&highlight=#66785) created by one of my friends in December, 2004. The features mentioned by him are basic things but they are still missing...

They have been talking about HELM 4 for years now.
I wish they just fix all the issues they have instead of releasing a new buggy control panel :cry:

On TheCoolServer we have enabled this feature again in all hosting plans, it will allow you and your customers to install DNN 3.2.2

DNN 4 App Pack has a problem it is not putting the correct SQL server IP after installation into the web.config file.
