I need to create a database for joomla. I have created the name and I am using my SQL4. Do I put "local host" or mysql.Domainname.com in the hostname box? Also, regarding the username, will that be the one I use on here. And what about the password? Will it be the same on here as well. I did try putting all this information in it didn't work. Some help would be appreciated. I know that you support joomla because my friend uses you as a host and he uses joomla

For the user/pass, this should be created when you create the db in HELM.

Sorry, but that link didn't help me at all.

If we can talk layman's terms, that would be so much easier for me

First of all, I have to put something in the host box. With my other server I have been putting in "mysql.mydomain.com" would I do the same on this or would it be "mysql.hostfest.com" secondly, when I created the database in the helm there was no obvious password or username created, all I did was create the name of my database. So you can see I am rather stuck.

Sorry, my mistake I have added username and password okay. Only problem is, when I had all this into joomla, it still does not working. I am not sure if I'm putting the right information into the host box

The server should be
mysql.server

NOT "mysql.mydomain.com" nor "mysql.hostfest.com"

You still have problems?
