MSSQL Server has been upgraded to MSSQL Server 2005 for all our existing clients. No changes should be required in your scripts and everything should work as it is, if you have any issues please contact support.

If you connect to SQL Server from your own location through Enterprise Manager then that will not work now. You have to Download Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio which is available free from Microsoft site.

An issue has been identified and we are currently working with WHA(Web Host Automation) on that.

The issue is that when you create a user in MS SQL database in HELM that user is created in security logins inside MS SQL 2005 but is not physically added into the particular database. So the newly created MSSQL Database login will not work. This will happen for new databases as well as old databases, but for only newly created database users.

We will update this thread when this issue is ironed out meanwhile if you create a user inside an old or a new database please open a ticket with the username/password and database name and we will fix this issue manually for you.

Thanks

WHA(Web Host Automation) released an update for this issue and we did update our HELM control panel.

No more issues regarding this anymore. All of our clients can create MSSQL 2005 db/user/pass without any problem.
