Hi there,
I was wondering if it is at all possible to enable database backups being placed into a account's file space. Let me clarify; when I attempt to perform a backup via "SQLServer Management Studio" running on my desktop here (remote connection), I see the local path of "x:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\........\Backup\dbname.bak" as the destination for the backup file. Obviously, this is a local path on the SQL box and not where my wwwroot folder is. I know that I can actually perform the backup, but cannot download that file to my machine...
Is it at all possible to configure the default backup location of each db to be a folder - such as "backups" - in the account's ftp root? That would be the greatest feature ever, run a backup and the file would be in your ftp root ready for download...
Maybe I am just day-dreaming :)
