After I launched my blog network, I realized it didn't look that great in Firefox. So I started with The TV Remote and redesigned the skin to look better. I added some plugins and some meta, and I think I am really close to being able to roll this out across my meager network of six blogs.

So check out thetvremote.com and let me know what you think. Good, bad, whatever, I want to get some feedback on the design.

Thanks

It looks nice. Color palette is amazing.

I think you must take a look to web standards and trying to get some advice about tableless design. It helps to "clean" code and SEO generally.

Yeah, when I get some spare cash, I want to go find a book on CSS - specifically doing css tables without the tables. If you know of any good sources, feel free to post them.

That would totally be the icing on the cake with this design. I have spent two weeks redeveloping this design. Once its done I am going to roll it off across my other blogs - different color palette for each blog of course.

I started the TV Remote in late Feburary and it did about 50 uniques, in March I had some good posts, so I concentrated a Google AdWords promotion for a couple days and March ended with 1700 uniques. That is the quickest I have ever grown a sites traffic. The TV Remote is definately the standout blog in my network. The others I need to revamp after I roll out the new design.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, I dove into CSS and made a tableless layout.

So check it out and see if it is ok, let me know if it shows up weird in any browsers.

I checked this page - http://www.thetvremote.c...g-back-for-13-episodes/
You are displaying ADSense 4 times. I think you can despay AdSense only 3 times on a single page.

Have Terms of AdSense changed now?

That particular pages should only be displaying two adsense ads and one adsense adlink.

But that page hasnt been changed over to the new design. So I'm not too worried about it.

I just want to make sure that http://www.thetvremote.com/beta is working on all browsers and looks good. Its all CSS, no tables.

In Opera AND IE6

the top links do not show up "Google-Anzeigen Lost"

In Opera

The rounded edge on top right is broken.

Yeah the good ads are messed up right now.

Opera breaks my rounded corners - all of them or just two of them?

Otherwise it looks good?

Otherwise it is fine, opera only breaks one rounded corner top-right one.

excellent - i will work on fixing it when i get home.

its my first attempt at all CSS design, so I'm really worried about it looking pretty much the same in all browsers.

So if anyone else uses other browsers, check it out for me.

Thanks

Design your website in my opinion is too monotonous, especially the use of the colors of the letters, if the color of the title is replaced with contrasting colors, such as red, in my opinion more interesting. Also too short for READ MORE
