This announcement relates to all resellers of HostingFest on
liteserver, thecoolserver and chilledservers who are using private
nameservers.
However if you are not a reseller or you are a reseller but are using
our nameservers then this announcement does not concern you, and you
can safely ignore this email. If you do not know what is a private
nameserver then this announcement does not relate to you at all.
If on the other hand you are using your own private nameservers then
you have to do the following ASAP.
Login into the domain's control panel the one you are using as
nameserver. You will have one nameserver pointing to 208.101.48.243,
for example if you have two nameservers like the following
ns1.mydomain.com 208.101.48.245
ns2.mydomain.com 208.101.48.243
We are talking about the second one. You will have to change the second
one and point it to 75.126.169.130, so that the new nameservers are
ns1.mydomain.com 208.101.48.245
ns2.mydomain.com 75.126.169.130
Remember you do not need to change the first one, only the one pointing
to 208.101.48.243.
You should do this as soon as you receive this email. After changing
this if you see that the second nameserver is not responding do not
despair it will start working in 48 hours. The first one will keep
working and will keep your sites up. You do not need to open a ticket
if the second nameserver does not work in the next 48 hours.
Remember If you are using our nameservers then you do not have to worry
at all we will do all the necessary stuff.
